Supercell is looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team in Helsinki. The team is responsible for management reporting, performance analysis, and business partnering across the organization. As Supercell consists of highly independent teams, the FP&A team wants to provide a greater amount of awareness and visibility into each team’s financials and costs. In this position you will be an essential part in analysing costing data and creating reports to increase transparency in team level costing and expense claims. Your goal is to develop a scalable and impactful way to generate and share these insights to Supercell’s teams. In addition you’ll help the team with other ad-hoc analysis when needed.

The ideal person for this role has an analytical and data-driven mindset as well as attention to detail. You are a curious can-doer with a genuine interest in getting to know Supercell’s operative and financial environment in more depth. You enjoy diving deep into data, searching information, producing insights and more than anything – you are excited to share your findings and “tell a story” with data. You might be for example a Master’s Degree student in the field of accounting, industrial engineering or other applicable major. Furthermore we hope you have gained some previous work experience for example as an analyst, or in a company’s financial function, producing analysis to support decision making or working with other data-related tasks.

Why you will love it at Supercell:

  • Opportunity to work with an amazing, service-minded, skilled team and have fun at work
  • Meaningful role to make a lasting impact on the way Supercell provides team-level information to make better decisions
  • Easy-going, enthusiastic, open, and at the same time a very results-driven company culture
  • Versatile job and a possibility for continuing in the job after the internship with extended responsibilities in the financial area
  • Flexibility considering working hours and times if needed
  • Supportive and professional colleagues who boost your development and who are curious to hear your ideas

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant education such as ongoing Master’s degree studies in a relevant major (e.g. Accounting, Industrial Engineering or similar)
  • Relevant work experience from financial and analytical tasks
  • Solid skills with Excel
  • Capability and willingness to take a self-directed approach into researching and analysing financial data
  • Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written. Finnish language skills are seen as an advantage.
