Vaski Group is looking for a PLC Software Engineer to strengthen its automation expertise in Hyvinkää.
Vaski Group is a rapidly growing manufacturer of industrial machine tools, specialising in the processing of flat materials and sheet metal, as well as automation solutions. We combine the strengths of three established brands – Vaski, Pivatic, and Ursviken – and in this role, you will work particularly with Pivatic’s sheet metal solutions and production systems.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a skilled PLC Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Hyvinkää. The role focuses on PLC software development for highly automated sheet metal machinery and production lines, with a focus on Siemens-based control systems and machine automation.
You will design, implement, and test PLC programs and operator interfaces while working closely with electrical designers, fellow software engineers, and production. Your work plays a key role in ensuring project quality, functionality, and on-time delivery. While the main focus is on development work at the office, you will also support commissioning when needed.
The role offers a hands-on position in a small, skilled team where you can work independently, take ownership of your projects, and contribute to the continuous development of common software practices.

This is a full-time and permanent position, and you will be employed directly by Vaski Group. This role is based in Hyvinkää, and we’re looking for a locally based Software Engineer who enjoys on-site collaboration and flexible hybrid working. Occasional international travel is part of the role, mainly related to project handovers. The starting date is flexible and can be agreed upon with the selected candidate.
