What is temporary leasing?

Temporary leasing is a service, where the talent is employed in the recruitment company payroll instead of the client. This means the recruiter pays the talent’s salaries, among other legal obligations. The client company is responsible for onboarding the employee, as well as providing a safe workspace and equipment.

Why use temporary leasing?

Consider temporary leasing when you need new employees, but can’t add them to the company payroll. Leasing is a common practice in recruiting new talent for fixed-term and short projects, such as summer jobs and internships. It can also be used when the client company has headcount restrictions in place.

When should you use temporary leasing (TLDR)?

  • When new employees can’t be added to the company payroll
  • When predicting the long-term demand is difficult
  • When your company wants to concentrate on core business and outsource recruiting, as well as other employer management

When should you outsource recruiting?

Consider outsourcing if your company needs new employees but lack time and know-how in recruiting suitable candidates. Companies, whose HR department needs support in reaching their target audience and managing large applicant pools, can also benefit greatly from outsourcing.

When should you outsource recruiting (TLDR):

  • When the recruiting manager or company HR can’t reach ideal candidates
  • When the time of the recruiting manager and company HR is better used at developing core business
