Terms of Service

1. Introduction

When you use our services you agree to all of these terms. If you do not agree, don’t submit an application and do not register to our applications system. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which covers how we collect, use, share, and store your personal information.

1.1 Contract

You agree that by registering, submitting an application or using our Services (described below), you are agreeing to enter into a legally binding contract with aTalent Recruiting. If you do not agree to these terms, do not register and do not access or otherwise use any of our Services.

Your use of our Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

1.1.1 Services

This contract applies to aTalent’s Applications System, also known as CareBuddy, as well as the services it offers, such as submitting applications. Registered users of our Services are “Users” and unregistered users are “Applicants”. This Contract applies to both.

1.2 Users and Applicants

When you register and join aTalent’s Applications System, you become a User. If you have chosen not to register to our Service, you may access certain features as an Applicant.

1.3 Changes

We may modify this Contract and our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to it, we will provide you notice via email to provide you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If you object to any changes, you may delete your account. Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to these terms means that you are consenting to the updated terms.

2. Obligations

You’ll keep your password a secret.
You will not share an account with anyone else and will follow our rules and the law.

You’re okay with us providing notices to you via email. If the contact information you provide is out of date, you may miss out on important notices.

2.1 Your account

Users are account holders. Users agree to: (1) choose a strong and secure password; (2) keep their password secure and confidential; and (3) follow the law. Users are responsible for anything that happens through their account unless they close it or report misuse. An account belongs solely to its corresponding User.

2.2 Notices and Service Messages

You agree that we will provide notices to you via email. You agree to keep your contact information up to date.

3. Rights and Limits

We may access, update or remove all the information you input to your application and profile in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy. We may forward your information to concerned parties of an active recruitment process you are a part of.

You promise to only provide information that is truthful. You may ask for or remove all information about you from our Services.

We may contact you regarding active recruitment processes or other opportunities, if so specified.

We may change, suspend or end any Service. To the extent allowed under law, these changes may be effective upon notice provided to you.

3.1 User Data

3.1.1 Providing and Accessing Data

You agree that aTalent Recruiting may access all the information you provide with applications through our Service, during the recruiting process and all information you provide to us through your profile. If you are part of an active recruitment process, this information may also be forwarded to concerned parties of the recruitment process in question, e.g. the company the recruitment process is for. Any parties we provide with sensitive information are bound by our Customers’ Contract and corresponding Privacy Policy.

You promise to only provide information that is truthful.

As a User, you may at any time access the information you have provided by signing in and visiting your profile.

As a User or Applicant, you may ask to see or receive via email any and all information we have stored about you, e.g. during a recruiting process.

3.1.2 Updating and Removing Data

You agree that we may at any time add, update or remove your profile or data linked to your profile, such as applications to recruitment processes you are involved in, if they present contradictions to our database or these changes have been requested by the User or Applicant they concern. Adding or updating information provided by the User requires no notice. Upon removing your profile, a notice will be sent.

You may at any time remove or ask to remove your information from our Service. As a User, you can do so through your profile or ask via email (see our Contact Information). As an Applicant, you may ask via email (see our Contact Information) for your information to be removed.

3.2 Contact and Messaging

You agree that we may contact you regarding a recruitment process you are a part of. We may also contact you about other opportunities if you have agreed to this in your profile or application file.

Please review your profile’s contact settings to control and limit the messages you receive from us.

3.3 Service availability

We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, our Service or any part thereof, with or without notice or consent. aTalent Recruiting shall have no responsibility or liability for failure to store any content or user content submitted to the system.

4. Termination

Removing or requesting to remove your data is regarded as a termination to this contract.

Both you and aTalent Recruiting may terminate this contract at any time. Removing one’s User or Applicant data, profile, or all data linked to either is regarded as a termination to this contract.

5. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Both User or Applicant and Service Provider agree to applicable Finnish laws relating to these Terms. In a case of dispute, the User may contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.

You agree that the laws of Finland shall exclusively govern any dispute relating to this Contract and/or the Service. These Terms do not limit Customers rights presented in Finnish law.

If the User and Service provider can’t come to an agreement in a dispute, the User has the right to bring the dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (FCDB) (www.kuluttajariita.fi). However, before taking the dispute to the FCDB, the User is advised to contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services (www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-advice/) to solve the issue.

6. General Terms

We will both comply with applicable laws relating to these Terms.

Both you and aTalent Recruiting will comply with the applicable law relating to each of our respective activities under these Terms, including privacy and data protection laws applicable in Finland and the EU.

aTalent’s failure to enforce at any time any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to do so later.

We reserve the right to change these Terms and will provide you notice if we do and we agree that changes cannot be retroactive. If you don’t agree to these changes, you must stop using the Service.
