Linear is looking for a mid-level Power BI Developer to take ownership of reporting within their market-leading product.

Its core product, the Linear platform, brings together the most important tools real estate professionals need in their daily work, from sales and customer management to marketing. Linear has now entered an exciting scale-up phase after becoming the market leader in Finland. The company is continuously expanding into new markets and currently operates successfully across multiple European countries. Linear is one of the most widely used real estate systems in Estonia.

What will you be doing?

You will be joining a small team, where you will have real ownership and the opportunity to influence how reporting evolves within the product. In this end-to-end role, you will work across the full data pipeline, from querying and optimizing data in the database to designing clear and impactful dashboards embedded directly into the product.

Your work focuses on building and developing Power BI reporting within the Linear platform, including data modeling, SQL queries, and performance optimization for growing datasets. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, DevOps, and customer-facing teams, and explore new reporting and analytics opportunities together with customers.

Initially, you will focus on rebuilding and modernizing Linear’s customer-facing reporting layer. Over time, you can grow toward product ownership of reporting and/or analytics as the company builds a dedicated reporting & analytics function.

We expect you to have:

• Previous experience working with Power BI in a professional environment
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases
• Experience with ETL processes and data transformation, data modeling, and building efficient reporting solutions
• Ability to work across the full reporting pipeline from data source to visualization
• Good communication skills and working proficiency in English
• Ability to understand and speak Finnish in a work context

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position, and you will be employed directly by Linear. The ideal start time in the role is either as soon as possible or in early autumn 2026. The role will be located in Helsinki, and we hope you are able to visit the office from time to time as part of a flexible hybrid model, especially during the onboarding phase.
