Reactive Technologies is a leader in accurate grid measurement tools and the company’s mission is to streamline and accelerate the energy sector’s transition to zero-carbon energy.

The company is continuing to expand its services globally across multiple regions, and is therefore looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to strengthen the development team of 10 professionals in Oulu, Finland.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a key part in designing and developing intuitive, scalable and user-friendly cloud-based services that deliver real value to the client professionals operating critical power infrastructure. You will take ownership of the entire UI/UX domain, working closely with stakeholders and designers to create seamless user experiences. The role covers the entire frontend development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance of production-ready applications. The product’s frontend is built with React and TypeScript, with UI test automation forming part of the development process.Therefore these will be your daily technologies. You will work closely with product management, the Product Owner and the software development team.

We hope you have the following:

• Several years of professional experience developing and delivering modern frontend applications in production environments
• Strong experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework
• Solid experience with TypeScript
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns and application lifecycle management
• Experience with UI test automation and quality-focused development practices
• Full professional working proficiency in English

We consider as an asset:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, accessibility and frontend performance optimization
• Experience mentoring developers or leading frontend initiatives
• Working proficiency in Finnish

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position and you will be employed directly by Reactive Technologies Finland Oy. The preferred start date is in September or October 2026. The company’s office is located in Oulu, and ideally you could work from there (hybrid). Please note that we expect you to already have a valid work permit in Finland.
