Futuriot is expanding to Helsinki and we now have an open position for a Front-end Developer! This is a consultative role where you will work on our client companies’ software development projects in their premises. For instance, you get to work on modern banking, retail or enterprise software. The role is rather independent, and you get to manage your work in the way that suits you the best. Your responsibilities vary according to our client projects. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in software engineering and learn about different industries!

We highly appreciate enthusiasm towards programming and motivation to learn and to get things done. As you will work with different kinds of assignments, a self-directed and active attitude is important in this role. Also, you will be working directly with our customers, which underlines the importance of interpersonal skills. We do not expect you to be a seasoned professional yet, but good programming skills and previous working or project experience form a solid basis to succeed in this role. If you would like to develop towards being a full stack developer in the future, we also provide a good environment for that.

Requirements for the applicant:

  • Good skills in JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Angular2 (or newer) or React
  • Ability to adapt and learn new things fast
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent English skills, both verbal and written (Finnish not necessary)
