AmpliconyxQuality Manager

Ampliconyx is looking for a motivated Quality Manager to take ownership of testing, documentation and certification of their products.

What will you be doing?

Ampliconyx focuses on the production of highly cost-effective pulsed fiber lasers and amplifiers for industrial applications including material processing, bioimaging and spectroscopy. As Quality Manager, your core focus will be to organize, implement and supervise product testing, metrological measurements, and technical documentation efforts that ensure the company’s fiber lasers and amplifiers meet international safety and quality standards. In addition, you will manage the entire qualification and certification processes for global markets, including CE and FDA.

You’ll work as the technical lead in a small team, planning and carrying out testing activities, guiding measurement work, and ensuring compliance with a wide range of international norms. You’ll collaborate closely with internal R&D teams and external partners, including certification authorities.

You are a hands-on expert with a background in electronics or optoelectronics and experience in product qualification and certification. You’re excited by the prospect of building compliant processes for a growing company and are equally comfortable in the lab, handling test equipment, as you are navigating regulatory documentation and engaging with authorities. You bring an open-minded, positive, and friendly attitude to the team.

We expect you to have:

• A technical degree in electronics, optoelectronics, or a related field
• Practical experience in working with lasers or other optoelectronic or electronic devices
• Hands-on experience in product testing and international certification processes
• Good understanding of international certification norms and standards (e.g. FDA)
• Full working proficiency in Finnish and English

Additionally, we consider it an advantage if you have:

• Familiarity with fiber laser technologies or classical geometrical optics
• Experience with radio-frequency or optical measurements
• Experience from companies with established quality management systems
• Experience in certification of lasers, opto-electronic or electronic devices
• Skills in Mathlab, Origin, or Labview
• Russian or German language skills

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position and you will be employed directly by our client company Ampliconyx. The role is based at Ampliconyx’s Tampere office and requires on-site presence due to the lab-based nature of the work. We hope you can start as soon as possible.
