What will you be doing?

As a Technical Account Executive, you will play a central role in driving enterprise sales and scaling our customer base across Europe. This is a quota-carrying role, combining strategic solution crafting with direct deal execution — from discovery to close. Your focus area will be Europe, and you’ll be traveling approximately 30% to client sites for pilots, technical workshops, and industry events. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, product and delivery teams and report directly to the VP Sales.

Your core tasks include:

  • Working directly with customers to scope applications, design technical rollouts, and implementation.
  • Driving new business with enterprise clients in food, beverage, dairy and processing industries.
  • Executing the Collo Buyer Journey (Discovery → Metrics → ROI → Proposal → Close → Expansion).
  • Using MEDDIC and ROI-based proposals to build strong business cases and shorten sales cycles.
  • Conducting site visits to support pilots, resolve technical challenges, and validate solution impact.
  • Capturing operational feedback from customers to inform future product and application strategy.
  • Representing Collo at key industry events.

What kind of person thrives in this role?

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring a proactive mindset, persistence, and technical know-how in process automation or food & beverage industries. We’re looking for someone who knows how to navigate complex B2B sales, build trust, and manage longer enterprise sales cycles with confidence.

We require you to have:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in process automation, food & beverage tech, or industrial IoT.
  • A proven track record of closing multi-stakeholder enterprise deals in Europe.
  • A solid understanding of beverage or dairy process optimization, automation, or sensor tech.
  • Familiarity with solution selling methodologies.
  • A full working proficiency in English

We consider as an asset:

  • A professional working proficiency in French or German.
  • Networks within the DACH or French markets in food & beverage or industrial automation sectors.

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position, in which you will be employed directly to Collo. The preferred starting date is as soon as possible, realistically from early 2026. As your focus area will be Europe, you can work remotely from anywhere in Europe or onsite at our headquarters in Tampere, Finland. The role also includes up to 30% travel to client sites for pilots, technical deep dives, and industry events. Salary consists of a base + performance-based commission and will be negotiated individually.
