Mapita Oy is a SaaS company providing a community engagement platform called Maptionnaire. The company is based in Finland and founded in 2011. Our firm spawned from the land use planning and urban studies group at Aalto University, where our team conducted research on geographical online questionnaires. Our platform Maptionnaire is based on years of research using the SoftGIS (geographic information system) method for analyzing human experiences and everyday behavior related to residents’ environments. Today, the Maptionnaire Community Engagement Platform is a global service with customers in over 40 countries.

Mapita is now looking for a driven and ambitious Global Sales Manager to join their growing team and to help them conquer bigger markets globally. Your prime responsibility as Global Sales Manager is to focus on new customer acquisition via outbound sales, especially in the Nordics, Germany, the UK and USA.

On a daily basis, your main tasks are to target potential B2B and B2G -customers that operate for example in the infrastructure and city development sector in the public and private sector, and to take care of the entire sales process. We are now looking for someone with solid experience in B2B-sales, SaaS-solutions and customer acquisition. We would expect you to be highly driven, consistent and really see the value in Maptionnaire and its added value to our customers. We are a growing start-up-like team with low hierarchy and as Global Sales Manager, you will also have the possibility to develop the sales process and ways of working together with Mapita’s team.

We hope that you have:

  • Previous experience and proven track record in solution-oriented B2B-sales and new customer acquisition. We also appreciate your previous experience with SaaS-solutions.
  • An ambitious, creative and persistent working attitude with an easy-going personality and great team spirit
  • Eagerness to learn and develop Mapita and our ways of working
  • Interest towards urban planning and design and community engagement
  • Fluent skills in English, both written and verbal. Other Nordic languages are seen as an advantage
