Integration Developer

Published on 05.06.2019

Sympa is the fastest growing HR solution provider in the Nordics. Our cloud-based HR system is used by over 300,000 users and loved by our customers. We have a complete, fully-customisable HR solution that lets businesses focus on people and smart decision-making. Sympa is striving for strong international growth while maintaining the agility of a small business, and this shapes our work culture. We’re all connected by a passion for what we do, and a desire to develop in what we do. Decisions are made fast, with flat hierarchy, and everyone who works here is valued for themselves and for their skills. Sympa employs more than 120 ambitious professionals in five countries around the Northern Europe.

We are looking for a motivated Integration Developer that can help us continue in our success of developing flexible integration solutions to serve our growing customer base. We have already integrated to more than 200 different systems and we want to keep this number growing. As integration developer you will design and implement API and file-transfer based, multitenant integrations to various systems used by our customers. You will develop integrations with Java and utilize Mulesoft’s integration solutions. Your work includes developing, testing, documenting and maintaining the integrations. In addition, you will participate in designing the integrations and cooperate with third party system providers to determine the best integration design. If you are interested, you can participate in the client work as well.

This position is for you if you like to work independently and get a lot of responsibility of your own work and the results. You are not alone – instead, you will be working closely with the Connectivity Product Manager as well as integration consultants and specialists. Therefore, good communication and collaboration skills are highly valued.  We don’t require you to be a ready-made integrations guru, but understanding of integration development and previous experience in working with different integration platforms will help you to succeed in this role.

We are looking for:

  • A few years work experience in programming with Java
  • Understanding of integration development
  • Experience in utilizing APIs (REST, SOAP)
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Great people skills – you are awesome with people of all backgrounds

We appreciate, but don’t require:

  • Experience in working with different integration platforms
  • Skills in Finnish

What’s in it for you?

  • The opportunity to work with modern technologies and platforms in an international environment
  • Versatile and changing projects – you won’t be stuck in developing the same product forever
  • Career & development opportunities in the growing company (e.g. related to integration architecture)
  • No nonsense! We keep hierarchy to a minimum, we all know one another, we make decisions fast – and we have fun while doing it
  • Flexible work hours and opportunity to work remotely – time for your own hobbies and interests!
  • As part of our office exchange program you will be able to visit our offices in different countries
  • Competitive salary and good benefits

In this position you will be employed directly to Sympa.

Sounds like you? Please submit your application letter and CV by latest 19th of June here:  Please mention your salary request and possible starting date in your application documents.
