Orbis Systems, the leading global 5G testing solution provider, is now looking for a Supply Chain Lead - could it be you?

Key responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Lead, you will play a key role in managing and developing Orbis Systems’ global supplier network. In this hands-on role, you secure high-quality and cost-efficient components, negotiate contracts, and ensure that the supply chain supports global customer projects. You work closely with the Oulu-based SCM team and collaborate with production, project managers, and international sites. Depending on your background, the role may include leadership responsibilities.

Your responsibilities also include sourcing and procurement, inventory management, analytics, performance monitoring, and KPI tracking. In addition you will support new project planning by defining sourcing strategies, cost structures, and material availability for project-based deliveries.

Required qualifications:

• Relevant university degree (BSc or MSc), e.g. Industrial Engineering or similar
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supplier management, ideally within the electronics industry
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience working with ERP systems and Excel
• A full professional working proficiency in English

Additional assets:

• Previous experience with RF components, mechanical sourcing or telecom-related materials
• Understanding of global supplier markets, especially APAC area
• Experience in ERP implementation projects, preferably with NetSuite
• Finnish language skills
• Previous leadership or team coordination experience

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position, in which you will be employed directly to Orbis Systems. The preferred start time is between January and March 2026. The company’s headquarters is located in Oulu and we hope you are able to work at the office at least three days per week as part of a hybrid model. Some travelling is also required, mainly within Europe and occasionally intercontinentally (approx. 10% annually). Salary in this position ranges between 5000 - 7000€/month (gross) depending on the level of your experience and the final scope of your responsibilities, and will be negotiated individually.
