Key responsibilities

As a Blockchain Data Analyst at Token Terminal, you will help expand and maintain the platform’s coverage of decentralized applications and blockchains. Your work will focus on integrating new EVM blockchains and DeFi applications to Token Terminal and updating existing pipelines. In addition, you will support clients by resolving data issues, implementing metric changes, and delivering analytical insights.

The role is structured to include both technical development and customer-facing work. On the technical side, you will work with our data infrastructure and tooling to ensure robust and scalable integrations. On the customer-facing side, you will help maintain high data quality by handling support requests and collaborating closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners. This combination offers a well-rounded opportunity to contribute to the platform’s reliability and the overall client experience. 

Token Terminal’s infrastructure runs primarily on Google Cloud, with blockchain data extraction pipelines developed in TypeScript and orchestrated via Kubernetes. Data transformations follow an ELT approach and are performed within a BigQuery data warehouse, with SQL as the core language throughout the pipeline. Most of the SQL logic is managed using dbt, supported by a custom-built orchestrator for efficient project management.

What makes you a great fit?

This role is ideal for someone with at least a few years of hands-on experience in data analysis and data engineering, who is self-directed and thrives in an independent work environment. You have already demonstrated your ability to design and maintain data pipelines, work with large datasets, and deliver actionable insights. You are curious and technically oriented, with solid knowledge of blockchain technologies and, ideally, hands-on experience working with crypto-related data, financial datasets, and analytics.

You communicate with clarity and impact, collaborate effectively in remote teams, and bring a structured, results-driven approach to your work. In fast-evolving environments, you remain adaptable, solutions-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results on time and at scale.

We require you to have: 

• A relevant degree, such as computer science, statistics, or business
• At least a couple of years of experience in data analysis or similar roles, ideally involving large and complex datasets
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to write well-structured queries
• Practical knowledge of blockchain concepts and technologies, supported by hands-on project or work experience
• Full working proficiency in English 

 We consider as an asset:

• Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar data warehouses
• Familiarity with dbt for managing SQL-based transformation pipelines
• Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python or TypeScript)
• Familiarity with EVM chains and smart contract behaviors
• Experience with blockchain data tools such as Dune or Flipside

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position. You will be employed directly by Token Terminal and start time in the role is negotiable between September and October 2025. The work can be done fully remotely. The role includes light on-call responsibilities around once per month during weekends. Salary in this position is approximately 4500–5500 €/month, depending on the level of your experience, and will be negotiated individually.
