UI Developer

Published on 30.09.2019

Intoloop was founded in 2009 by three friends with an ambition to create a world-dominating social media platform. In the end that didn’t take off as well as planned. In 2013 the company pivoted to a whole new direction to create an online course platform that they would actually want to use themselves. This was the birth of Campwire, which has proven to be a success.

Today, Intoloop has two complementing business areas, Campwire and Digivallankumous. Campwire is a SaaS online training platform with which trainers and coaches can easily create good-looking online courses and sell them, without any technical know-how. Digivallankumous provides high-class training on creating successful online businesses.

Our focus is to make creating online training business frictionless, enjoyable and visually appealing.

Intoloop is now looking for an UI Developer who has the willingness and potential to take their product, Campwire, to the next level. Campwire is a reliable and easy-to-use platform for creating and selling online courses. It enables the customer to create beautiful and well-functioning online courses without coding know-how or graphic design skills. It has been optimised to work with different mobile devices and big screens alike. In this position you’ll have a great opportunity to leave your “handprint” since already 200 000 Finns have used Campwire.

In this role you’ll get to start your work from a clean table: it has been decided that from a technical point of view it’s time to create a brand new version of Campwire. Regarding the UI side, you are the one who gets to be in charge. What this means is that we are looking for someone with strong, modern web development skills, a good eye for visuals and willingness to jump into many kinds of tasks. In this role you will be working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Photoshop and are not afraid to learn about the world of back-end development as well.

In addition to the right skill set we hope to find somebody with a curious mind and eagerness to keep learning about what they don’t know yet. It is also important that you openly communicate with others, ask help when needed and are not afraid to suggest improvements. At Intoloop you will get to work in a compact team of 10 colleagues. The team is not only working in Tampere but around the Europe so you also get to work from the geographical location that works the best for you.

We hope you have:

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Git
  • Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Fluent English
  • Experience on Ruby on Rails, Node.js or similar MVC web-application framework

We consider as an advantage:

  • Knowledge regarding JavaScript frameworks
  • Skills or understanding regarding back end development
  • Fluent Finnish

Intoloop offers you:

  • Easygoing, fun and flexible work environment
  • A possibility to start working from a clean slate with bleeding edge technologies
  • A chance to choose your own work location: you can work at the Tampere office or anywhere you want, so you don’t have to relocate for this job
  • Competitive benefits related to culture, sports, commuting and massage

Sound like you? Please submit your application letter and CV in PDF no later than 14th of October here: https://apply.atalent.fi/intoloop-ui-developer-9-2019.  Please mention your salary request and possible starting date in your application documents. If you have a LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow or a publicly available web application or website designed and/or coded by you, please also link them to your CV.

In this position, you’ll be employed directly to Intoloop.
