Sofia Digital is looking for a Smart TV developer to join their team in Tampere. In this role you will work on new projects, develop our existing products, participate in platform and API development and architecture design. You are the person we are looking for if you have previous experience developing web and mobile apps and want to take an interesting new career step to become an expert of TV applications. We do not require previous experience with smart TV applications. You will get a great kickoff as a Smart TV developer if you have skills for example with different Javascript frameworks and libraries (React, React Native, Vue.js and Node.js), CSS and HTML5. Experience with Python, PHP and SQL are seen as an advantage but not necessary. You will fit our team if you are a self-motivated and influence driven person who delivers commitments on time and with quality.

As an ideal candidate you have:

  • Solid experience in web development (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Interest in TV technologies with a desire to become a world-class specialist in the field

  • A flexible team player attitude with willingness to share what you learn and learn from others
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and Finnish

We see as an advantage:

  • Further full stack development skills with Node.js, Python, PHP and/or SQL
