Want to lead high-stakes renewable energy deals and shape the PPA market in a fast-growing Nordic advisory firm? Join Windly as an Originator!
What will you be doing?
At Windly, we serve as a trusted commercial advisor in Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) transactions - bringing together renewable energy producers and large-scale electricity buyers. We work on both buy-side and sell-side mandates, which gives us a unique position in structuring market-leading renewable deals. Some sell-side mandates cover volumes representing a notable share of Finland’s electricity use - offering a chance to work on impactful, high-value deals.
As our Originator, you’ll be at the front lines of driving these deals forward: from spotting market opportunities to building relationships and closing agreements that shape the future of clean energy. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, initiating conversations, arranging and running meetings, and guiding both sides of a deal - from early structuring to final negotiations. You’ll also act as a key contact between producers, buyers, legal teams, and internal stakeholders. You'll be joining a compact and highly skilled team of four, working closely with Windly’s founders on both domestic and international PPA mandates.
What makes you a great fit?
You might already have experience from the energy sector, structured product sales, or complex B2B deal-making - especially in electricity markets or renewable energy. You’re proactive, commercially sharp, and comfortable managing ambiguity. You know how to navigate complex B2B environments, coordinate multiple parties, and push deals forward with purpose. This role suits someone who is hands-on and enjoys both the big picture and the detail - comfortable working independently but excited to be part of a collaborative, high-trust team.

Practicalities:
This is a full-time and permanent position, where you will be employed directly to Windly. The expected start is after summer 2025, but we’re happy to discuss this with the right candidate. The role will be located in central Helsinki, and while we offer flexibility in working arrangements, we value in-person collaboration and expect office presence at least a few days per week. The OTE for the position is 60-160k€/year. The salary consists of a base salary and a performance-based bonus model.
