Do you want to drive AI-powered product development forward and lead a senior team building the future of smart energy optimization? Nuuka is looking for an Engineering Team Lead to join their team and take a key role in advancing AI-driven SaaS solutions for smart buildings.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you combine hands-on development with technical & people leadership, guiding a team of experienced developers while shaping the future of Nuuka’s product architecture. You will work across Nuuka’s product suite, including AI-powered optimization, diagnostics, and analytics applications.
Your focus is on evolving the platform built over the past years: bringing AI/ML solutions to production, improving scalability, and ensuring the system delivers real customer value. You will collaborate closely with product and business teams to define the roadmap, prioritize development, and align technical decisions with business goals. Nuuka’s technology stack is built around Python and Azure-based solutions, including scalable data and ML pipelines, supported by technologies such as MS SQL Server, C#, React, and ASP.NET.
In practice, your work includes hands-on coding, architectural design, and leading the team’s daily work. You ensure focus, clarity, and prioritization in a fast-growing environment where new customer needs continuously shape development.

Practicalities:
This is a full-time and permanent position and you will be employed as an aTalent employee at Nuuka, with the possibility to transition to a direct employment with Nuuka later on. The preferred starting date is as soon as possible, but will be agreed with Nuuka. The role can be based in either Helsinki or Hamina, depending on your preference, and we follow a flexible hybrid working model. We hope you are able to work regularly from the office, as the team meets on-site on Wednesdays and the entire Nuuka organization gathers in person once per quarter. Salary in this position is approximately 6000-7000 €/month depending on the level of your experience, and will be negotiated individually.
