Country Manager (Dutch-speaking)

Bonusway is a Finnish startup that is currently working in 16 countries while constantly growing and developing their services. Our international cashback and loyalty service helps well over 4 million people worldwide to save money on their daily online shopping. The purpose of Bonusway is to make shopping smart, fun and social. 

Bonusway is now looking for an enthusiastic Country Manager to join their team located in Helsinki. In this role, you’ll get to work closely with our current Country Managers and build Bonusway’s business in the Netherlands. You’ll be responsible for localizing Bonusway’s services and taking care of business operations in the new target market. Your tasks include, for example, acquiring new clients and e-commerce connections, doing translations, and handling customer service and communication between different stakeholders. You will work closely with a Communications Specialist who is also focusing on the Dutch market. When a solid base has been developed in the target market you will get a chance to grow and lead your team. 

This is an entry-level position so we do not expect you to have similar working experience. However prior experience for example in business development, B2B-sales and customer service is seen as an advantage. The role of a Country Manager is versatile which is why we are looking for an organized problem-solver who can pick on new things fast. You have a business-oriented mindset and strategical thinking comes naturally for you. We do not require a specific education for this role but a degree in the field of business studies is considered beneficial. To succeed in this role you need to have knowledge of the target market’s culture and fluency in Dutch and English languages. You enjoy working in a startup-like environment. Developing the business operations and working your way towards growing your own team is something you aim for. To kickstart and succeed in the role, you will receive comprehensive support from Bonusway’s team.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A relevant study background in e.g. business
  • Written and spoken fluency in Dutch and English
  • Motivation to develop and grow your expertise
  • A solution-oriented attitude and the ability to learn new things quickly  

We consider as a plus:

  • Previous work experience in business development, sales, e-commerce or digital marketing
  • Knowledge of the Dutch market and culture
