We are rapidly growing and expanding around the world. We currently employ 50 people across our three entities in Zurich, Boston and Espoo. Our Espoo office is the R&D center with 30 people working in research and development, customer service and finance and administration.

BC Platforms is now looking for a Financial Assistant to join their team in Otaniemi! In this position you will be assisting in different financial tasks and work closely together with BC Platforms’ financial team of four and internal stakeholders. The position is part-time (2-3 days a week) but during the summer you’ll also have an opportunity to work full-time. As a Financial Assistant you will be responsible for the accounts receivable and accounts payable and travel and expense claims in all BC Platforms companies and preparing various reports for internal control and decision making as well as external use. BC Platforms is a growing company and the role can evolve over time depending on your interests and company needs.

BC Platforms is looking for someone who pays attention to detail and has a precise way of working. Your workdays will be versatile and fast-paced so a self-imposed attitude, flexibility and ability to work under pressure will help you succeed in this position. BC Platforms also appreciates ability take action independently and the courage to ask for help when you need it.

BC Platforms is looking for someone with:

  • Relevant educational background (e.g. in accounting)
  • Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Attention to detail and preciseness with numbers
  • Excellent communication skills in English

 BC Platforms considers as an asset:

  • Language skills in Finnish and /or German
