As Ductor’s business expands, we are looking for a curious Electrical Engineer to join its international team in Helsinki, Finland. Plant deliveries are Ductor’s core business and in this new and interesting position, you will be responsible for dimensioning of motors and trace heating as well as for overall layout-design of biogas plants. More specifically, as an Electrical Engineer your will join Ductor’s plant delivery project team and coordinate electrical design from project idea debriefing to delivery of biogas plants. You will, for example, be responsible for procurement of essential equipment. Thus, you will play an important role in the plant delivery process, but despite the independent nature of your daily work, you will not be left alone: you will be surrounded by other experts and work in close cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders, such as global electrical engineering companies, reporting to Ductor’s Head of Engineering.

As an ideal candidate, you have a relevant technical background as well as genuine interest in electrical engineering and design. In addition, you are technically savvy and you have good skills in AutoCAD. You are capable of working both in a team and independently, and co-operating with diverse stakeholders. Moreover, you approach the big picture as well as smaller details in a structured way. This being said, willingness to learn new things and develop yourself is the key!

We require you to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an electric field of studies
  • Previous experience with electrical systems, preferably within process industry
  • Good technical skills in AutoCAD
  • Very good command of both written and spoken English

We consider as an asset:

  • Previous experience within international organizations
  • Familiarity with ATEX standards
  • Proficiency in Finnish
