Matchmade is a Finnish startup company founded in 2014 that connects social media creators with advertisers through a new kind of marketplace. Matchmade offers an easy-to-use platform that brings advertisers and creators together for targeted and measured campaigns. Matchmade has offices in Helsinki and Berlin and employs 20 employees in total from 9 different nationalities. 13 of them are working in Helsinki and 7 of them in Berlin. Matchmade is now looking for a Marketplace Operations Manager (a mix of a Campaign Manager and a Campaign Analyst) to work together with their Account Executives, product team and clients. As a Marketplace Operations Manager your main task is to operate and improve the operations of Matchmade’s marketplace where they connect social media creators with advertisers and brands.

As a Marketplace Operations Manager you will be implementing the campaigns and analysing and reporting the campaigns performances and results. Your daily tasks include for example allocating and managing the creator marketing budgets, reviewing and sending offers to creators, creating campaign briefs and guidelines for campaigns and helping content creators with blockers and questions. In this position you will be also improving Matchmade’s offerings towards their customers with Matchmade’s Account Executives and defining priorities in product development with Matchmade’s product team.

The ideal candidate for this position and to Matchmade is someone who is a data driven and analytical problem solver. You already have an understanding of data and earlier experience of carrying out campaigns. You are an independent self-starter who has great interpersonal and customer service skills and who’s not afraid of giving suggestions for improvement. You have an eye for details but you are also able to see the bigger picture.

The ideal starting date for this position would be as soon as possible. But this is of course negotiable.

Matchmade requires you to:

  • Have completed Business or Technical studies
  • Have already a few years (1-2+) of experience in a similar role (for example as a Digital Marketing Analyst or a Campaign Manager)
  • Have understanding of data and earlier experience from carrying out campaigns
  • Have solid skills in Excel/Google sheets
  • Be an analytical self-starter and problem solver with great communication skills
  • Be fully proficient in English

Matchmade considers as an asset:

  • Interest in the creator marketing and in the work of content creators
  • Experience in influencer marketing and/or user acquisition
