Redstone is partnering with the City of Tampere to launch a brand-new startup acceleration program – and we’re looking for a Startup Community and Program Manager to lead it on the ground. In this full-time and permanent role, you’ll not only manage the day-to-day operations and events, but also play a key role in shaping and developing the program conceptually.

You’ll serve as the visible local host: organizing events, supporting early-stage startups, connecting entrepreneurs with mentors and investors, and building a vibrant community at Platform6. Working closely with Redstone and FiBAN experts, you’ll co-develop and run a diverse series of live and online events – from sparring workshops and investor meetups to themed pitch nights and founder networking sessions. You’ll curate content, manage logistics, and ensure each event delivers real value to the startup community.

In addition to your responsibilities in Tampere, you’ll also support Redstone’s defense industry startup accelerator operations in Riihimäki and assist in tasks related to fund investment and portfolio management within Redstone’s venture activities.

This is a unique opportunity to not only build a new startup community but to help design and evolve the very program that supports it – all while working with an international VC team and tapping into a vast network of data, tools, and partners.

You’ll succeed if you have: 

• Familiarity with startup ecosystems and venture funding (e.g., how to navigate funding rounds or validate business ideas)
• Service minded attitude with strong coordination skills: you thrive in versatile responsibilities and have a passion for making things happen
• Energetic, social personality – a natural "host" for events and community gatherings
• Previous experience and shown results with project management related tasks and working in a startup, accelerator, VC, or entrepreneurial network
• English communication skills (spoken and written), Finnish skills seen as a benefit

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position. You will be employed by Redstone and work mainly onsite at Platform6 in Tampere, Finland. The role includes partial flexibility for remote work but is primarily in-person to support local community-building. The preferred start date is November 1, 2025. Salary in this position is approximately 3000-4500 €/month and will be negotiated based on your previous experience and skills.
