As a Technical Manager you will be highly involved with the management of property portfolios totaling over EUR 2.0 billion of assets located in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. Your primary focus will be on technical real estate management and other key areas including energy-efficiency, sustainability, digitalization, renewable technology and investments. You will hold a central and highly visible coordinating role within the team and interact with a wide range of people, both internally and externally. 

Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Working closely with senior management to devise business plans and investment strategies related to technical asset management, sustainability, energy-efficiency, digitalization and renewable energy technology.
  • Participate in deal execution working effectively with technical and environmental experts and by performing your own analysis as part of potential acquisitions.
  • Prepare quarterly reports and coordinate the reporting process with local asset management partners.

As a part of a small, dedicated team, you will be working closely with senior management and Brunswick Real Estate’s local asset management partners to create and deliver on strategies to optimize the performance of the portfolios. That’s why we are looking for a person with a good team spirit and an analytical mindset. We hope you have a straightforward attitude and a high level of energy. You will have varied tasks and a steep learning curve, working with a mix of retail, office, hotel and care properties. The position is based at the Brunswick Real Estate office in Helsinki or Stockholm.

We require you to have:

  • Technical Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Technology (HVAC, Electric, Automation etc.), Mechanical Engineering and/or Energy Engineering
  • Some relevant experience (we see it as an asset if you have some experience from engineering consulting)
  • General technical understanding of mechanical systems and operations
  • Professional attitude and strong social skills – You enjoy working with different stakeholders and have a curious attitude
  • Fluent English and Finnish or Swedish communication skills, both written and spoken
