NautorInterior Engineer

Are you an engineer with an eye for technical precision and a fascination for luxury yacht interiors? Nautor Swan is looking for an Interior Engineer to join its expert team in Pietarsaari, working on some of the world’s most celebrated sailing yachts.

Your role with us

In this role, you will be responsible for designing interior solutions that are technically precise and aligned with the iconic Swan brand. The work involves 3D modeling, material handling, and engineering drawings of furniture to a high standard, enabling cost-effective and smooth manufacturing of high-quality products. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to deliver accurate designs and material specifications for both custom-built and serial production yachts.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Designing 3D models and creating engineering drawings using Siemens NX
• Generating BOMs (Bill of Materials), preparing purchase plans, and collaborating with production and suppliers.
• Participating in both custom-built and serial production yacht projects, either independently or as part of a project-specific team.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver precise, production-ready designs.

We hope you have:

• Suitable educational background, such as a degree in construction engineering.
• Some relevant work experience; recently graduated engineers with the right mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX or similar 3D modeling software. Familiarity with SAP is considered a plus.
• A precise working style and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• Full working proficiency in English. Swedish/Finnish language skills are considered beneficial.
• Readiness to relocate to Pietarsaari if not already residing in the area.

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position. You will be employed directly by Oy Nautor Ab. The role is based in Pietarsaari, with an expectation of regular on-site presence. Remote work is possible up to 1–2 days per week depending on project schedules.
