QuuppaFinance & Operations Controller

Quuppa is looking for a Finance & Operations Controller to join its team and take ownership of finance operations in a stable, profitable deep-tech company with global reach.

Key responsibilities

As a Finance & Operations Controller at Quuppa, you will play a key role in ensuring that the company’s financial processes run smoothly and that business-critical data is accurate and up to date. Quuppa’s business combines both SaaS and hardware, which brings an interesting layer of complexity to topics such as revenue recognition, invoicing, and reporting.

You will take ownership of reporting accuracy, support monthly closing, collaborate closely with the external accountant, and maintain forecasts. You will also contribute to audit processes and take part in developing internal financial processes and systems.

In addition, your role includes hands-on operational finance tasks. While day-to-day invoicing is primarily handled by a colleague, you will support more complex cases and ensure that invoicing aligns correctly with revenue recognition, especially in a SaaS and hardware business context. You may also provide backup support for daily invoicing activities during the colleague’s absence.

You will work closely with the CFO, internal teams on finance and operations topics, and an external accounting partner, acting as a bridge between daily operations and financial control.

Requirements:

• Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or similar
• 2+ years’ of relevant work experience in finance, controlling, or accounting-related roles
• Good understanding of financial processes, including VAT reporting, revenue recognition, and invoicing
• Experience with ERP systems and good Excel skills
• Strong communication skills in Finnish and English

Considered as an asset:

• Work experience in a growth company or international environment
• Experience with SaaS business models and subscription-based revenue
• Experience in inventory accounting and reporting in a product environment
• Experience with Power BI, SQL and data handling tools
• Interest in developing financial processes and utilizing AI in finance

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position, and you will be employed directly by Quuppa. The preferred starting date is as soon as possible, ideally by the end of May 2026.The role is based in Espoo, and follows a hybrid working arrangement with a predominant in-office presence. Salary ranges between 3500–4000 €/month and will be negotiated based on your experience.
