Tesi is now looking for Investment Analyst Trainees to join its Fund Investment and Direct Investment teams in autumn 2026, working closely with investment professionals on market research, investment analysis, and portfolio management.

Your role at Tesi

Regardless of which team you work in, you will participate in market and industry research, investment opportunity assessment, and material preparation for decision-making and market insights. You will be an integral part of Tesi’s investment teams and participate in meetings and interviews with our current and potential new investment opportunities. In addition, you will help the team in our portfolio management. The role offers a hands-on introduction to investment analysis, and we value a basic understanding of company financials and economic development, combined with attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn. Investment Analyst Trainee, Fund Investments

Tesi’s Fund Investment team is looking for an Investment Analyst Trainee. The team invests in Finnish and international private equity/venture capital funds, within the whole spectrum from seed-funds to buyout-funds. In addition to the previously mentioned tasks, you will participate in fund team, strategy and track record assessment as a part of investment proposal evaluation. The role offers the opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to comprehensive market analyses across various sectors, company-level evaluations and the assessment of the potential of different investment strategies — all supported by advanced data analytics. Investment Analyst Trainee, Direct Investments

Tesi’s Direct Investment teams are looking for an Investment Analyst Trainee. You will work with both of our direct investment teams that invest in tech-driven startups, growth companies and new industrial scale businesses. Part of your traineeship will be in our Venture & Growth Investments team and the other in our Industrial Investments team. In addition to the previously mentioned tasks, you will deep dive into target company evaluation, and be tasked with financial modeling (e.g. valuation). You have

• Relevant ongoing university studies (3rd - 5th year) for example in business, engineering, natural sciences, or similar fields
• Some relevant work experience including, but not limited to, startups, business development, strategy consulting, or investment banking (e.g. internship)
• General understanding of company financials and interest in the venture capital and private equity market
• Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Full working proficiency in Finnish and English

This is a full-time, fixed-term traineeship for 4-5 months, starting in August or early September 2026, depending on your availability. You will be directly employed by Tesi.
