TAK Research was founded in Lappeenranta in 1991 and started out as a one-man company. During the first years TAK provided market research services, but it was soon discovered that the local businesses were in need of reliable analysis about their travelling, while the travelling from Russia to Finland had extensively started to grow. Nowadays TAK does nearly 20 000 interviews yearly in Finnish borders and during Covid-19 the interviews have extended to homeland travelling.

By utilizing a variety of statistics and our own research data, TAK calculates tourism income and the number of jobs created by tourism, for each municipality and province in Finland. They’ve created a Visitory-platform that collects travel data from multiple sources and creates comprehensive reports and infographics to show you your region’s latest travel trends. The reports produced by the service summarize the key figures of tourism from different regions. With Visitory, local travelling organizations and companies can easily find all relevant travel indicators in one platform and share the information with their stakeholders.

Do you describe yourself as a sales-oriented and dynamic person and you’re talented in collaborating and negotiating with different people? TAK Research is looking for an Account Manager to take over new market areas in the Nordics with the Visitory-platform and that could be you!

Visitory-platform is already commonly utilized in Finnish travelling organizations (e.g. Visit Helsinki) so the next step is to take it in Sweden. We’re looking for an Account Manager who will take over the whole sales process with regional travelling organizations in Sweden. The prospecting of potential stakeholders is already done, so as an Account Manager you’ll get to focus on the rest of the sales process: contacting leads via email or the tool you see most beneficial, scheduling meetings with interested parties, presenting the Visitory-platform in those meetings and finally making offers and final contract-negotiations. Later on, you also get to be responsible for maintaining and developing your own customerships in the long-term.

TAK Research offers you a permanent and full-time position, with the flexibility for up to you to decide where and when you want to work. Other members of the team are geographically dispersed and live in different parts of Finland. In this position you’ll be coworking with the whole Visitory-team of 6. They offer you a supportive and highly committed working environment where great team spirit means also mutual trips abroad or in Finland. In this Account Manager position, the salary is commission-based (uncapped), based on sold contracts per month, but also with the guarantee of 2000€/month. TAK also provides great options for your professional development, based on your own interest you can grow your responsibilities into new market areas in Nordics or into a managerial position or continue focusing on customer value and long-term customer relationships.

We expect you to:

  • Be equipped with a sales-oriented and dynamic approach
  • Have previous experience in sales, new customer acquisition and/or account management
  • Have the ability to take over the whole sales process with successful results
  • Be a trustworthy team player with great collaboration skills and also the capability of working independently
  • Be fully proficient in English, fluent skills in Swedish and/or Finnish are highly appreciated

We consider as an asset:

  • Previous experience and/or knowledge with travelling industry
  • B2B Sales experience in Sweden or other Nordic countries
