Business Finland is now looking for a full time, fixed-term (8 months) Communications and Marketing trainee. You will be working closely with event organisation, Business Finland’s digital marketing and digital services. You will take part in three major projects: developing Business Finland’s website towards a complete digital service, taking part in organizing and marketing of major events of 2019 as well as assisting in launching a new tool for marketing. In this position your job tasks include:

  • Maintaining and developing our website and transferring website content to a new platform
  • Supporting event organization: you will be assisting in organization and marketing of major events such as Team Finland -day, Slush and EU related events
  • You will be working with social media channels, social media campaigns, webpages and coordinating tasks
  • Assisting in daily digital marketing tasks, including assembling news letters, updating social media platforms and sending invitations
  • Other assisting tasks regarding internal communications

We are interested if you:

  • Are a marketing, media or communications student or have recently graduated (university or university of applied sciences)
  • Have previous experience in website design and digital marketing
  • Have interest towards learning more about event marketing
  • Are curious of new challenges, have an eye for details and have good organisational skills
  • Communicate and write articles and materials very well in English and in Finnish

You reason and communicate your views comprehensively. For you, networking means continuous development and new, fresh perspectives. You believe in cooperation and you value people.

We also consider as an asset if you have previous experience of working with service design and / or testing of digital services. Also if you have worked with event marketing or have organized events, we consider it as an advantage.
