Now TSS wants to broaden their company portfolio and to that they need your help! They are looking for an assertive Junior Business Development Specialist to join their young and international M&A team. The team consists of 20 people, that are located around offices in Northern-, Central-, and Eastern Europe with the HQ being in the Netherlands. You will be based in Helsinki and as a Junior Business Development Specialist your main task is to identify and contact new, potential companies in Finland, Sweden and possibly in other Nordic countries. In this position you will be mapping and analyzing the Finnish and Swedish vertical software market, extending the pipeline of qualified M&A leads and getting in contact with prospects via phone or email.

Your tasks include for example:

  • Initiating outbound prospecting calls, email and social media communication to identify and connect with new target companies in Sweden, Finland and other Nordic countries
  • Visiting trade shows and industry events in order to initiate contacts with prospective targets
  • Using Marketing and CRM data to build and maintain existing relationships with key stakeholders / decision makers
  • Following up on outbound and inbound prospect activities in a timely manner
  • Conducting first line interactions with company (primarily by phone and face to face in the future), in order to qualify potential targets and
  • documenting meetings / interactions in Salesforce (TSS’s CRM system).

An ideal candidate for TSS would be a hard-working and persistent self-starter who also has the ability to learn quickly. The ideal candidate would also have fluent skills in Swedish and Finnish, as well as full proficiency in English. In this position you will be communicating with experienced entrepreneurs and target company managing directors, which underlines the importance of excellent interpersonal skills and confidence. TSS also appreciates previous work experience in general and a degree from a relevant field of study.

The ideal starting date for this position would be in August or September. But this is of course negotiable.

TSS requires you to:

  • Have either a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree from a relevant field of study (for example from Business Administration, Engineering, Commercial Sciences and/ or Marketing) with decent grades
  • Have the ability to understand financial concepts
  • Have working experience in general
  • Have good technical skills, such as MS Office
  • Have fluent skills in Swedish and Finnish and full professional proficiency in English
  • Be a quick learner with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have willingness to travel (Depending on the COVID-situation)

TSS considers as an asset:

  • Earlier experience in using CRM-systems, such as SalesForce
  • Earlier work experience in business development or enterprise sales roles
