Junior Full Stack Developer

Roima Intelligence’s Logistics Business Area is looking for a Junior Full Stack developer to join the platform team of approximately 15 professionals. In this role you will participate in customer projects as well as product development as a junior developer. On the client project side you will learn how to deliver and integrate Roima’s solutions to customer’s environments and systems. In product development you will participate, according to your skill level, in different phases of software development including specifications, fixes, support and new feature development. You will focus on our Roima Software Fidaware WMS and WIRE, which are top tier iPaaS/SaaS-solutions in the Finnish and European manufacturing and logistics scene. Our main tech stack includes Java, Vaadin, Javascript (including React and Angular), .NET, SQL, NoSQL, microservices, Linux/Windows and Redhat Stack. We use open-source technologies and develop our infrastructure with a DevOps approach. Additionally, you will also occasionally participate in IT-support activities.

As an ideal candidate you have relevant education and preferably some work/internship experience in development with some of the technologies mentioned above. We are happy to hear about your skills and motivation to learn more and work in Roima’s team. Also if you have already some years of experience, the final role can be adaptable to a more senior role with wider responsibilities. As a person we hope you are willing to work as an active part of a team and handle occasional customer communication to properly understand their needs.

We are looking for:

  • Relevant studies in the IT field and/or some development experience using for example some of the following technologies and frameworks: Java, Javascript (AngularJS, React) .NET, Camel, Unix/Linux/Windows, SQL, HTML5 and/or xslt.
  • Basic understanding and interest to learn more about integrations, API development and DevOps practices
  • Fluent English language skills. Finnish language skills are seen as an advantage
  • True team-player mindset with willingness to build long-term, value-adding partnerships with our customers

In this position you will be employed directly by Roima Intelligence. Roima’s Logistics Business Area has teams in Espoo, Tampere and Seinäjoki offices so you may choose the location that suits you the best.
