Bayer’s products and services are designed to benefit people and improve their quality of life. Finland is a base for global pharmaceutical production, research & development and worldwide clinical trials. In Finland, Bayer employs about 850 people, located in Espoo and Turku. At Bayer, you have the opportunity to be part of a culture where we value the passion of our employees to innovate and give them the power to change.

Bayer is looking for an innovative and driven Process Designer to join their team in Turku! In this position you will get to be a part of a global project that aims to renew the current manufacturing execution system. The project has already kicked off by carefully drawing the current end-to-end manufacturing process and after that will move forwards to defining the new improved process in a detailed manner. The main goal is to create an optimal process that is effective, well-documented and supports quality and it’s traceability. Even though this project has an end date this is a permanent position and will later include maintenance tasks and also new projects.

In this position you will be working as a part of an experienced, global project team. You will be gathering input from many sources and collaborating closely with for example production process experts, quality assurance representatives, pharmacists as well as end-users. Our ideal candidate for this role might be a young talent with a business or engineering degree or a more experienced professional who already has a solid process understanding or experience from the pharmaceuticals industry. The most important thing is that you are proactive, collaborate effectively with others and are not afraid to innovate and challenge the current way of doing things. In this role, you will be reporting to the Production Information System Lead and will be based at Bayer’s Turku production site.

Requirements for the applicant:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or engineering
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
  • Good IT-skills
  • Fluent Finnish and English skills

 We consider as an asset:

  • Deeper knowledge regarding IT systems
  • Previous experience from the pharmaceuticals industry
  • Manufacturing process understanding
  • International work or study experience

We can offer you:

  • A great learning experience in a large-scale project
  • A truly international working environment
  • Excellent possibilities for career development for example through job rotation
  • Competitive remuneration and benefits

In this position you will be employed directly to Bayer.
