Fastems is now looking for a Training Specialist to join their training team in Tampere! In this role your main task will be on customer training, mainly related to the Manufacturing Management Software, which is the most advanced production planning and execution software in the industry 4.0. You will be joining an international team of 8 training professionals!

At the beginning of each training project, you will get acquainted with the project and create a detailed training plan in cooperation with internal stakeholders and the customer. You will then train the commissioned system to our customers either remotely or at the customer’s site. In your work, you get to utilize Lean methodology and help customers to maximise their production efficiency with Fastems’ solution. At the training phase, you will often work closely at the customer’s site and therefore the role includes regular traveling (min. 50% of working time). In addition, you also get to organize in-house trainings, presentations for potential customers and participate in development work related to the training business.

You will succeed in this role if you are a proactive person who has good communication skills and motivation to work in close collaboration with different stakeholders. You may be at the beginning of your career or already a more experienced talent, as long as you have previous work experience, for example in production, automation, robotics, or project management. Fluent English skills are essential for the role as you will be collaborating with customers and internal team members. We require you to have:

  • Relevant educational background
  • Previous work experience (e.g. in production, automation, robotics or project management)
  • General understanding of automation solutions
  • Proactive attitude and good communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (min. 50% of working time)
  • Fluent English skills

We consider as an asset:

  • Technical background, e.g. degree in engineering
  • Language skills in Finnish, German and/or Chinese
