Bond is a brand-driven creative agency. We bring together talent from different fields to create cross-disciplinary solutions for brands. Our services include identity, digital, retail & spatial, and packaging & product design. Our team consists of graphic, spatial, and strategic designers, producers, digital developers, copywriters, and artisans. Our working model is agile and designer-driven. We have studios in Helsinki, Dubai, London, and Tallinn.

We are now looking for a Web Developer to join the Bond team in their beautiful Helsinki studio in Kruununhaka! You get to join an agile team and contribute to the web development and other digital aspects of Bond’s client projects. You will mostly participate in frontend development, but there is plenty of room to grow professionally towards backend and full stack development, too. Actually, the aim is to let you use your own strengths. Individual teams are formed based on the project at hand, so there is a lot of cross-team collaboration within the company. Our internal stack includes JavaScript (mostly React), HTML, CSS, Docker, Node.js, WordPress, and PHP.

Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in programming, basic level programming skills, a creative mindset and a craftsman’s attitude. You don’t have to be a seasoned developer yet, but we want you to have the willingness and attitude to deepen your skills in software development. However, if you do have previous work experience in software development is an advantage. It is possible to discuss part-time employment (minimum 3 days per week) as well if you are finishing your studies. You may also start as a thesis worker.

Requirements for the applicant:

  • Basic level programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS obtained through project / work / hobbyist experience or studies
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken (Finnish not necessary)
  • Willingness to develop yourself and learn together with the team

 We see as an advantage for you:

  • Relevant previous work experience
  • Creative mindset and interest in branding
  • Experience using React, WordPress, Node.js, MongoDB, relational databases, or other technologies in our stack
