What you’ll do:

As a Content Optimization Specialist at Wield VR, you’ll be the analytical counterpart to our Video Content Creator – responsible for optimizing short-form content to target and engage our global audience. Your mission is to fine-tune every detail: pacing, hooks, captions, visual effects, sound, music, and keywords that make Shorts, TikToks and Reels to stand out.

You’ll monitor views, retention rates and engagement metrics like comments and shares. You’ll extract insights from performance data and viewer comments and use them to iterate and improve future videos. This role goes beyond “post and hope” – it’s about structured experimentation: test, measure, optimize, repeat.

Required qualifications:

• Experience with A/B testing and content performance tracking
• Strong skills in short-form video editing with an emphasis on post-production optimization
• Deep understanding of Shorts, TikTok, Reels, and SEO best practices for social platforms
• Ability to interpret analytics: views, watch time, retention, engagement
• Full working proficiency in English - both written and spoken - other language skills are a plus!

Additionally valuable skills:

• Skills in sound design or basic motion graphics
• Experience in social media growth hacking, channel flipping, content strategy and/ or paid ads
• Background in consumer research, behavioral science, or experimentation
• Experience with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. TikTok, IG, YouTube Studio)

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position, in which you will be employed directly by Wield VR. Start time in the role is as soon as possible, according to agreement. Wield VR’s office is located in Tampere, but you can choose to work hybrid or fully remote. The base salary for this position follows market standards and a compensation package is also available.
